A Horsham history lesson- and a look into the future

Horsham museum focusing on local football history- whilst the club sets about making more

If you happen to be a resident of Sussex- and/or a fan of the Hornets- then Horsham museum has a treat for you.

The museum, based in the centre of the town on the Causeway, is running a free exhibition with memorabilia and artefacts from the area, showcasing the past glories of the Hornets and other football clubs. You can find out more by visiting the club website, here.

Unfortunately you won't be able to take in this exhibition whilst making a trip to watch the Hornets, as they are currently based in Lancing- but we've good news on that, too. The new ground, being built at Hop Oast on the edge of the town, is coming along a treat- and you can even see an aerial video of progress if you visit the website specifically set up to chronicle the ongoing works- here. No aircraft were diverted from Gatwick during the making of this movie!

Horsham will be moving back to their home town this year.

Where next?

Towners starlet heads to League One Enfield defender signs for Doncaster Rovers- and is expected to "break into the first team in the next six months or so."
