A new Day for Wasps

Ashford United forward Matt Day has left Homelands to sign for Bostik South East rivals East Grinstead Town, according to the United website.

Day was in his third season with the Kent club, which begun when he was part of the SCEFL promotion squad in 2016/17, and made ten starts last season, scoring five goals. His game time tended to come as a substitute, and perhaps it's for that reason that he has chosen to join Matt Longhurst's Wasps.

East Grinstead, in fifteenth place in the table, travel to face Herne Bay tomorrow.
