A new man in the dugout at Borough- and it's the man with the magic sponge!

Greenwich appoint former medical man to be their new manager

Greenwich Borough haven't had the best of seasons so far. Currently in 18th place with only three league victories and eleven defeats, manager Luke Medley departed just over a week ago (not that we noticed because it was only announced on Instagram), and now they have confirmed an interim replacement- their former man with the magic sponge, Huseyin Torgut.

Highly-regarded Huseyin originally worked for the club alongside Gary Alexander and John Makie, then headed to Ashford United with the pair until their recent departure from Homelands. But now he's back at Middle Park Avenue and in charge; despite not having any previous managerial experience, the man with the medical bag is now the man with the tactics board.

This hasn't been confirmed on the official website, but there is an interview with the new man on the always excellent Kentish Football website.
