A Tudor and a Crow for United

Hayes and Yeading bring in two- including a former Wembley winner

Hayes and Yeading United have announced two new signings as they prepare for life in the Bostik South Central Division. Landing at the SkyEx Community Stadium is an ex- Tudor, as defender Ed Asafu-Adjaye joins from Hemel Hempstead Town, and he is joined by a former Crow, as Royston Town midfielder Scott Bridges signs on for the new season.

Asafu-Adjaye started his career at Luton Town, and he played as the Hatters won the Football League Trophy at Wembley in 2009. He later turned out for Forest Green Rovers, before signing for Hemel nearly four years ago.

Bridges was described as “the best player in the League” by Royston manager Steve Castle as the Crows won the Southern Division One Central title little over a year ago.
