Waltham Abbey midfielder Ben Bradbury could be out for the season after suffering a double break on Saturday in their abandoned Ryman North clash at home to Burnham Ramblers.

Bradbury, pictured, suffered a suspected double break to his right leg midway through the first half at Capershotts. The 25-year-old left-sided midfielder was hurt in what Abbotts officials later described as a 'fair 50-50' tackle.

In a statement posted on their website, the club said: "Our match today versus Burnham Ramblers was abandoned after approximately 20 minutes when Ben Bradbury suffered a suspected broken leg. It wasn't appropriate to carry on. We wish Ben a speedy recovery and will post any more news as we get it on Ben's recovery."

Supporters should check the fixtures pages of the league's website for the rearranged date for the fixture.
