Boux Avenue Ryman Women's Cup Final

A late Tottenham Hotspur Ladies equaliser ensured Charlton Athletic Ladies had to lift the Boux Avenue Ryman Women's Cup the hard way at Ware's Wodson Park on Thursday night.

Addicks stars Kit Graham scored a carbon copy of Gemma Shepherd's first half opener five minutes into extra-time to clinch a 2-1 victory after Leah Rawle had pulled Spurs level with a minute of the ninety to go.

Spurs legend Gary Mabbutt was at Wodson Park to cheer Spurs on and also take part in a minute's applause before the 7.30pm kick-off for Spurs Ladies chairman Glenn Weaver who sadly passed away in February.

Charlton Athletic Ladies were presented with the trophy by Ryman League secretary Kellie Discipline, Ryman League director Craig Johnson and Kypros Kyprianou of the Ryman Group, representing sponsors Boux Avenue, one of the companies controlled by the Isthmian League's title sponsors.

Lingerie specialists Boux Avenue took over the sponsorship of the cup when the Ryman Group renewed and expanded its 20 year sponsorship deal two years ago.

Another Ryman Group company, homewares retailer Robert Dyas, also took over the sponsorship of the Robert Dyas League Cup, the Robert Dyas Vets Cup, the Robert Dyas Disability Cup and the Robert Dyas Youth Play-off Cup.

The Boux Avenue Women's Cup attracted a record number of clubs this year with Bury Town, Burgess Hill Town, Billericay Town, Carshalton Athletic, Charlton Athletic, Ebbsfleet United, Enfield, Gillingham, Herne Bay, Margate, Maidstone United and West Ham United all entering senior women's sides.
