Ade again as Stones take over

By Peter Butcher

MAIDSTONE are back on top of Ryman South, edging ahead of Dulwich with a 2-0 victory at Burgess Hill tonight (Tuesday).

Once again their hero was Ade Olorunda. He came off the bench to score his first two league goals of the season on Saturday as Stones came from 2-0 down to draw with Crawley Down, and he netted twice more, in the 11th and 73rd minutes, to secure tonight’s win.

Walton & Hersham were held to a 1-1 home draw by Horsham, for whom Glen Woodburn’s 54th-minute goal wiped out Greame Purdy’s effort for the home side just before the interval.
The other two games in the division, at Leatherhead and Whitstable, were postponed.
