Another stalemate on Sunday

By Peter Butcher

GOALS again proved elusive at Cray today (Sunday), where Leiston were the visitors in a game that became the fourth 0-0 draw of the Ryman Premier weekend and the ninth in all three divisions.

Leiston had the upper hand but the best chance fell to Cray in the second half when nee signing Paul Booth set up an open goal for Danny Phillips, who blasted the ball over the bar.

Cray moved up two places to 16th in the table while Leiston remained 12th.
