Average attendances up from last season

The figures are in, and it's official. Bostik League football is thriving!

Our average match attendance across our divisions showed a 6.8% rise over last season, with the North Division returning particularly impressive figures- up 94% on last year! The Premier Division showed an 11.4% rise, whilst the South East Division- which we're comparing with last season's South Division- was the exception, with a 20.8% fall.

The best attendances in all four divisions were as follows:

Premier: 1,189 Worthing v Burgess Hill Town on 27 th August.

North: 567 Felixstowe & Walton United v Bury Town on 11th August.

South Central: 260 Bracknell Town v FC Romania on 27th August.

South East: 595 Guernsey v Ashford United on 18th August.

Thanks to our statistician Mike Wilson for the numbers. Incidentally, our statistical review of last season, delayed due to Mike's ill health, is now at the printers and should be available shortly. We're delighted to confirm that Mike's health is greatly improved and normal service has been resumed.
