Bay announce fundraising match

Last week Bostik South East side Herne Bay announced that they were facing significant financial difficulties, and yesterday it was confirmed that they wil host a fundraising match on Wednesday April 24th to help them improve their finances.

The match will be between a team of supporters- who will pay £10 each for the privilege- and a team made up of former players and managers. The squad for the latter has been announced as follows (capitals not ours!):

Current management duo of John Embery and Jermain Darlington are also making an appearance, and the club are looking for a sponsor for the Supporters Man of the Match Award- the Supporters Association are already sponsoring the same award for the opposition!

Admission on the night will be a minimum of £1, but the club would be happy to take a larger admission fee by donation if you'd like to pay one. Every little helps.
