Becks backs his Wasps to start stinging again

East Grinstead Town's joint manager Tony Beckingham is looking forward to seeing his side end their seven game winless run in Ryman South when they host South Park on Saturday.

Beckingham, pictured, believes his fourth from bottom Wasps have more to play for against the Sparks who ended their own six game winless run on Tuesday night to climb into mid-table when they beat Walton & Hersham 1-0 at King George's Field.

Ahead of Saturday's match at East Court, Beckingham told www.eastgrinsteadcourier.co.uk: "They seem to have started well but they might be a typical example of a team that knows they are safe and they may be going through the motions a little bit.

"Hopefully we have got more to play for and we can go and prove ourselves and win the game."
