Bishop's bring in a defender

Loanee arrives from Chelmsford

Bishop's Stortford had a day off yesterday, but they used the time well, agreeing a loan deal to strengthen their defence. Moving to the ProKit Stadium is Chelmsford City centre back Mark Haines- who once turned out for Grays Athletic during their period at a higher level.

Haines has played more than 250 times for City, and will add experience to a Blues defence which hasn't kept a clean sheet since 3rd November. He will be in the squad for the Boxing Day fixture against Harlow Town- which kicks off at the earlier than usual time of 1PM.
