Macron Performance of the Month Awards

Margate, Brentwood Town and Tooting & Mitcham United can start looking forward to collecting the second Macron Performance of the Month Awards of the season.

The trio were unveiled on Tuesday as September’s performance kings in the competition to recognise the top monthly performers over the course of the campaign in the Ryman Premier, Ryman North and Ryman South divisions.

Each divisional winner will be presented with a glass trophy marking the club's achievement at an upcoming fixture by representatives from the league and sponsors Macron after judges considered a shortlist of potential clashes before casting their votes based on the result, form and circumstances behind the winning performances.

Margate were named as Macron’s top flight winners for their key 1-0 win over Kent and title rivals Maidstone United on Tuesday 23 September, Terry Brown’s side coming out of top in the first versus second encounter in front of more than 2,300 fans at Hartsdown Park.

Tooting & Mitcham United are the second winners of Macron’s performance accolade in Ryman South this season after overcoming Conference South Bishops Stortford in an FA Cup giant-killing. Guided by manager Craig Tanner, the Terrors stormed to a 3-1 home win in their Second Qualifying Round Replay at the KNK Stadium Stadium on the final day of the month, Tuesday 30 September.

Brentwood Town are now celebrating a Ryman League double in September's awards after their management duo of Danny Dafter and Adam Flanagan were unveiled on Monday as September’s Ryman North Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Managers of the Month. The pair secured Macron's performance accolade for guiding their side to a 3-1 win over Essex rivals Aveley at the Brentwood Centre Arena on Tuesday 30 September.
