Blues duo are latest live guests

By David Watters

Billericay Town duo Glenn Tamplin and Paul Konchesky are the star studio guests on Monday night's live broadcast of the Ryman Round-up Show!

The Blues owner and his star signing were in the studio to record the latest live broadcast on Facebook between 7 and 9pm alongside hosts David Square, Thurrock star Glenn Poole and VCD Athletic manager Keith McMahon a week after former Billericay boss Craig Edwards appeared on the show in the wake of his New Lodge exit.

Launched with the backing of the Ryman League during the 2013-14 season, the two hour live phone-in also features a number of other guests and a specially recorded interview with Ryman League chairman Nick Robinson and vice-chairman Craig Johnson.

To get their thoughts on everything from the Football Association's new plans to shake-up the Non-League pyramid to securing the Ryman League's next title sponsor, Square travelled to Aveley on Saturday to get together with Robinson and the Millers secretary at the 2-0 win for Aveley over Soham Town Rangers in Ryman North.

The latest winners of the Ryman League Show's weekly Team of the Week poll were also due to be named on the show with Corinthian Casauls, Brentwood Town, Godalming Town and Enfield Town all in the running after an online poll by fans.

Supporters who can't tune in live on Monday nights can also listen to the show later at their leisure after it is packaged up as a podcast on Audioboom and iTunes.

Recorded this season on Mondays after switching from Thursdays, the Ryman Round-up show now has its own channel on YouTube and has been regularly attracting more than 2,000 viewers and listeners, one recent episode pulling in more than 3,500 combined hits.

Since returning in November with then new Leatherhead boss Jimmy Bullard as its first star guest, a host of fans, players, managers and officials have been guests on the show dedicated to the news and action in the Ryman League.
