The 2015 Women's Super League champions and FA Women's Cup winners are entertaining Sweden’s FC Rosengård in a 11am kick-off on the artificial surface at Colston Avenue as they prepare for the new women's campaign.
WSL runners-up last time out, the Robins say the Blues are looking to play many of their stars including midfielder Karen Carney MBE and England strikers Eni Aluko and Fran Kirby as they get ready to reclaim their title from current champions Manchester City Women.
Colston Avenue is no stranger to hosting women’s football with the award-winning Surrey club already boasting a flagship ladies team which has won several trophies since its inception in 2008 as well as several girls sides across all age ranges.
Carshalton Athletic chairman Paul Dipre said: "As a club we are committed to ladies football and there's no better way of celebrating that than by hosting two of the world’s best Ladies teams. Having Chelsea choose Colston Avenue is both a privilege and recognition of the quality of our stadium facilities.”
Chelsea Ladies are set to play their home games again this season at Staines Town's Wheatsheaf Park. After a series of friendlies this month and kicking off in the FA Women's Cup in March, the Blues start their new WSL campaign against Yeovil Town Ladies at the home of the Ryman Premier's Swans on Sunday 30 April.
Tickets to see the Blues in action on Sunday are priced at £3 for adults and £1 for U18s. For more information visit www.carshaltonathletic.co.uk.
