Boro midfielder heading down under

Harrow Borough midfielder David Taylor is leaving the Ryman League's top flight to head down under.

Taylor, who arrived at Earlsmead in February 2014 from North Greenford United, is flying out to Australia next week to play for FFV Victoria State League side Altona City near Melbourne when the new season kicks off in February.

The player, pictured, has played in just about every position during his time in the Ryman Premier, including emergency goalkeeper at Grays Athletic last season, scoring 14 goals in 120 appearances.

An electrician by trade, Taylor could make his last appearance for Steve Baker's side next Tuesday night before flying out when they host South Park in the third round of the Alan Turvey Trophy sponsored by Robert Dyas.
