Boro take the first steps towards home

A couple of weeks ago we reported here how Romford FC had taken their first steps towards having a new home of their own by applying for planning permission. Yesterday evening it was confirmed that this permission has been granted.

This isn't the end of the story, as much fund raising will need to be done if the dream is to become a reality, but it is a significant milestone. Congratulations to all at the club on this good news.

Perhaps, after being wandering nomads since their reformation in 1992, Romford will finally be coming back to their home town soon!
