Our internal deals from the South Central Division over the last seven days

You will have read about a number of arrivals at our South Central Division clubs over the last seven days, but there were only eight where players moved between Bostik League clubs and ended up South Central. They were as follows:

  • George Ademiluyi Hayes & Yeading United Cheshunt
  • Andrew Blake Leatherhead Egham Town
  • George Casey Cheshunt Ware
  • Shane Cojocarel Maldon & Tiptree Cheshunt
  • Mitchal Gough Merstham Hayes & Yeading United
  • Ernold Haxhiu Tilbury Hertford Town
  • Junior Mubiayi Enfield Town Hertford Town
  • Anthony Page Ware Waltham Abbey

Two of the arrivals turned Amber, and both were thrust straight into the first team and played an important part in Cheshunt's 3-0 victory over Egham Town yesterday. Defender George Ademiluyi swapped a title canter with Hayes & Yeading United for a playoff charge, whilst forward Shane Cojocarel has swapped one playoff chase for another, leaving North Division high-flyers Maldon and Tiptree.

Another player making a debut yesterday was Egham Town's Andrew Blake. Blake has been an important part of the Leatherhead squad this season, making thirteen appearances, but has spent a great deal of time on the bench in recent weeks and should get some minutes under his belt at Runnymede.

Mitchal Gough made his Hayes & Yeading United debut in their 6-1 win at South Park yesterday, having joined from Merstham for whom he didn't make a single appearance this season. He did, however, make a large numbe rof appearances for Harrow Borough in the Southern League- including one in the Middlesex County Cup semi-Final against his new teammates.

Hertford Town brought in Ernold Haxhiu from Tilbury, and gave him a debut in yesterday's defeat at Westfield. Haxhiu is a second year scholar with Leyton Orient. They also thrust Junior Mubiayi, a new signing from Enfield Town, directly into the fray.

Waltham Abbey brought in keeper Anthony Page from Ware, and he made his debut in victory over Bedfont Sports. Page made seventeen appearances for the Wodson Park side, most recently in defeat to Northwood in mid January.
