Bostik Tuesday round up

By Ian Townsend

An (almost) full programme of fixtures was played yesterday evening, and these saw a number of clubs maintain 100% records.

Twenty eight matches were played in the Bostik League last night, with some extremely high scores. Plaudits go to Staines Town, who managed six without reply against Tooting & Mitcham United, Bury Town who did the same at Hertford Town, and South Park, who registered five at home to Ashford United. Two clubs in the Premier Division have maximum points after two matches- Harrow Borough and Leiston; with Bowers & Pitsea, Potters Bar Town and Dereham Town sharing that achievement in the North Division. South Park, Walton Casuals and Sittingbourne have one hundred percent records after two matches in the South.

There were two hat-tricks in the Premier Division; Matthew Briggs for Dorking Wanderers and Niko Muir for Hendon.

Here are a selection of the available match reports from the Premier Division:

Dorking Wanderers 4 Metropolitan Police 1

Folkestone Invicta 2 Merstham 1

Harlow Town 2 Dulwich Hamlet 3

Hendon 3 Enfield Town 0

Lowestoft Town 1 Billericay Town 2

Margate 0 Tonbridge Angels 0

Needham Market 2 Thurrock 1

Staines Town 6 Tooting & Mitcham Utd 0

Sadly at the time of going to press there were no available reports for Brightlingsea Regent 0 Leiston 1, or Wingate & Finchley 1 Harrow Borough 3.
