Champions hailed by all on socials

Havant & Waterlooville fans and officials were swamping social media congratulating the Ryman League's 2017 Ryman Premier champions on Saturday!

Supporters of the club and many others took to Twitter, Facebook and just about every other social media platform going to celebrate the Hawks taking the title by two points with a 0-0 draw at Kingstonian within minutes of full-time and Lee Bradbury's side collecting their silverware from Ryman League secretary Kellie Discipline.

After setting a new record attendance for the season of 3,455 on Easter Monday when they beat title rivals Bognor Regis Town 1-0, the Rocks almost overtook them on the final day to snatch the championship with three points and a superior goal difference before the Metropolitan Police hit back to draw 1-1 and force them to share the points at Nyewood Lane.

The Ryman League's chairman Nick Robinson and his directors and officers congratulate all at West Leigh Park on winning the championship and promotion back to National League South at the first attempt for the 2017-18 season.
