Chris Dudley

VCD mourn the passing of club stalwart

VCD Athletic have been in touch to advise us of the passing of former secretary, treasurer and devoted supporter of the club, Chris Dudley. Chris had been an enormous part of the club for more than two decades, and, ‘leaves a void that will be very difficult to fill, as his knowledge and involvement was so great.’

Along with his wife Brenda, and other members of his family, Chris made a vital contribution to Vickers from their early days in the Kent County League and beyond, and had been an integral part of the VCD journey. As well as taking on official posts, he was also an important part of the development of junior football at the club, and even spent time covering the post of gateman to help out.

All at the Bostik League would like to send their heartfelt condolences to Brenda and her family at this sad time- and also to Chris’s football family at Oakwood.
