Clunis clocks up treble century

Dulwich Hamlet have been honouring winger Nyren Clunis after he clocked up his 300th appearance for the Ryman Premier club.

Clunis, 24, is pictured being presented with a memento by Dulwich Hamlet club president Jack Payne to mark his milestone achievement in his side's 2-1 win at Harlow Town in the Ryman's top flight.

The wing man, now in his eighth season as a Dulwich Hamlet first-teamer, originally graduated from the club’s successful youth set-up in 2009. In November of that year he made his debut for Dulwich in a 2-0 home defeat by Burgess Hill Town.

Later that season he scored the winner in a 1-0 victory away to Fleet Town - his maiden goal for the Hamlet. A prolific goalscorer, Clunis was top scorer for the club in the 2010-11 season and in the last campaign he finished with 13 goals.

Since first finding the net for Dulwich, he has gone on to bag 72 goals - his latest the opener in the 2-1 win over Enfield Town and his treble century puts him in the top twelve of all-time appearances for the south London club since 1950.
