Colston Avenue hosting finals

Carshalton Athletic are looking forward to hosting two of the Ryman League's showpiece finals at the end of the season.

The Alan Turvey Trophy sponsored by Robert Dyas and the 'Champion of Champions Final' of the Ryman League's U18s divisions are both heading to Colston Avenue and proud officials at the Robins say they will be pulling out all the stops for the fans, players and officials attending.

After taking place at Whyteleafe's Church Road last season, the climax of the Alan Turvey Trophy sponsored by Robert Dyas switches to the 3G surface at the War Memorial Sports Ground, pictured, for the first time on Wednesday 6 April. Kick-off 7.30pm.

Currently at the semi-final stage, two from Kingstonian, Enfield Town, Wingate & Finchley, Faversham Town and Sittingbourne will contest the competition's climax.

The ‘Champion of Champions’ final is taking place at the Surrey home of the Robins on Wednesday 4 May after the winners of Ryman U18s North, South, East and West divisions complete a one legged play-off to determine the finalists.

Carshalton Athletic chairman Paul Dipre said: ""We are very proud that Colston Avenue has been chosen to host the Ryman League and the Champion of Champions Cups. We will be working hard to put on good events for all involved."
