Comics and Gunners at Bloomfields

Comedians Jack Whitehall and Russell Howard are heading to Needham Market with a host of former Arsenal stars during the run-in to the Ryman Premier campaign for a charity match in aid of cerebral palsy awareness.

Tickets are now on sale for the arrival of Arsenal's official charity XI, the comic duo and a host of other celebrities and former players with the Premier League giants at Bloomfields on Sunday 19 March.

Cerebral palsy, an umbrella term for a group of neurological disorders, is the most common childhood motor disability and organisers are hoping to raise funds towards the £5,000 target of the Teigan Smile online campaign to buy new equipment for charity Stars Foundation for Cerebral Palsy.

The Marketmen say ex-Gunners stars David Hillier, Chris Whyte and Paul Davis are all hoping to play along with a host of other celebrities and players. Subject to availability they include Ground Force's Tommy Walsh, Ralph Little of Royal Family fame, Sam Attwater from Eastenders and even Spandau Ballet's Tony Hadley.

Tickets, priced at £10 for adults and £7 for children aged 8 to 16, must be purchased in advance for the all ticket fixture which kicks of at 1pm. Gates open from 11am.
