Cray strengthen!

As if they're not strong enough already!

Cray Wanderers, already thirteen points ahead at the top of the South East Division and having conceded only twenty two goals all season, have decided that they can do even better if they bring in a new left back! So they've signed one- direct from one of their promotion rivals!

Tom Carlse was an almost ever-present as Greenwich Borough took a place in the playoffs last season, and in this campaign has made twenty nine appearances, scoring two goals, as Ashford United have powered their way to fourth place. His former boss at Ashford and Greenwich, Gary Alexander, commented on social media:

'What a signing that is- a quality attacking left back who would leave a hole in anyone's team. There are signings that make a difference and Tom Carlse is one of them- great work Tony Russell.'

Carlse could make his debut as first play second when Horsham arrive at Hayes Lane tomorrow.
