Decade long deal signed to play at new home

By David Watters

Hendon are on course to move into Silver Jubilee Park next season after officials at the Ryman Premier's Greens announced they'd signed a ten year lease to play rent free at their new home.

Supporters attending last week's AGM were told that the long awaited news is expected to save the club around £25,000 annually in operating costs.

The Greens, top flight runners-up and play-off finalists in May, are set to kick off again in August at Harrow Borough's Earlsmead Stadium after previously agreeing an extension to their groundshare deal for Gary McCann's side.

A Greens spokesman said: "Whilst there is a lot of work to be done at the Silver Jubilee Pak to ensure the Greens can play there, hopes are high that the work can be done to ensure that we can start the 2016-17 season at our new home."
