Double deal for Dockers

Former Coventry City striker Donovan Simmonds has signed up for Tilbury's Ryman North campaign along with defender Joe Nightingill who's returned to the Dockers for the third time.

Simmonds, 25, arrives from Conference South outfit Boreham Wood. The forward, pictured, who's also played for Dover Athletic and Scottish First Division sides Kilmarnock and Greenock Mortan.

Now a proven goalscorer in Non-League football, he bagged a match-winning brace for Chelmsford City against Colchester United in the FA Cup last season.

Nightingill, 24, is back at Chadfields hoping to add to his 72 previous appearances and five goals for Tilbury since making his debut against Biggleswade United in the FA Cup in 2011.
