Double donation plan for Marsden

Haringey Borough are planning to donate the gate money from their Ryman North clash with Cheshunt on Saturday to the fight against cancer after doubling the total!

The Borough are hoping for a bumper gate at Coles Lane to maximise their donation to the world famous Royal Marsden Hospital in the memory of Kim Maxby, a good friend of the north Londoners.

Borough officials say one friend and fan - Dave Bell - is running 13 miles from her home in Nazeing in Essex to see the fixture dressed in a pink Tutu as he prepares to raise further funds for the hospital at April's London Marathon! With the club also planning a bucket collection, Haringey Borough chairman Aki Achillea is urging fans to turn out in force for the weekend clash with the Ambers.

He said: "We as a club are donating the entire gate money and then doubling it in aid of the Royal Marsden Hospital in memory of a good friend Kim Maxby who passed away having suffered from breast cancer and was so well treated by the hospital. There will additionally be a collection so we would hope that as many people as possible who are looking to attend a game would consider attending."

Admission prices are set at £7 for adults and £3 for concessions with children going free.
