Chips bring in a keeper

Chipstead bring in a keeper before tonight's match against England's top scorers

At the rate that Hayes & Yeading United have been scoring goals of late, many opposing teams must have wished they had two keepers. Well ahead of tonight's match with the league leaders, Chipstead have brought in another- and he arrives from Premier League Fulham.

Chips manager Antony Williams has just announced on Twitter the signing of Cottagers Under 23 keeper Taye Ashby-Hammond on a season long loan. The keeper, who is a former England Under 16 international, was an almost ever present in the Under 18's, and now, aged 19, has graduated to the Under 23 squad. Antony has sent his 'thanks to Fulham, Vic Bettenelli (the goalkeeping coach at Craven Cottage) and all those involved for making it happen today.'
