Northwood news!

Two new signings and a renamed stadium

It was a busy day for Northwood yesterday. As well as a fixture against Wingate & Finchley in the Middlesex Charity Cup, the club announced a new name for their stadium and two new signings.

Henceforth the stadium will be known as the Acretweed Stadium, after sponsorship by a local company who run bespoke security and training services- including K9 Security Guards and Patrols for General Security Applications, Drug Detection and Explosives Detection amongst other things. You can read more on that here.

The new players? Dean Barker welcomed Brendan Ocran, formerly of Barking, and also Dann Pett, the captain of Edgware Town. Ocran played in the match last night- a match which Woods eventually won, 5-3 on penalties.
