Planning approval for Wanderers

Cray Wanderers have confirmed that the London Borough of Bromley have just given approval for their new ground at Flamingo Park. The planning committee voted 11-3 to support the Wands application, which will see a facility designed to benefit the entire community built just off the A20 Sidcup bypass.

This may not be the end of the road for Wanderers- they have previously had planning permission granted only for London Mayor Sidiq Khan to pull the plug- but the club will hope that on this occasion there will be no more roadblocks, and that they will soon have a home of their own once more.
