The weather strikes again...

Midweek fixtures hit once more

When we awoke this morning we had ten matches involving our clubs to look forward to tonight- seven in the Bostik League, three in County Cup Competitions. Once more, however, mother nature has got in the way- and now there are four!

We've lost the entire Premier Division fixture list, with the games at Leiston and Needham Market off due to waterlogged pitches. In the North Division we've lost the matches at Ware and Brentwood Town. Shoreham v Thamesmead Town in the South Division bit the dust- or rather the mud- just after one o'clock.

Surrey Senior Cup? Sadly Chipstead v South Park has gone, too.

So, if you're looking for a football fix tonight, and barring a monsoon, earthquake or tidal wave, these are your remaining options:

North Division

Cheshunt v Waltham Abbey
Heybridge Swifts v Romford

London Senior Cup

Dulwich Hamlet v Harrow Borough
Met Police v Tooting & Mitcham United

Keep an eye on Social Media and we'll tweet any further changes, but surely the weather can do no more?

By the way, the picture is of Wingate & Finchley in the snow. Don't worry, that's an old image- it isn't snowing. According to the Met Office, that's next week!

Where next?

A big night at North bottom... ...and so many goals that you’d need to remove your shoes and socks to add them all up, as Swifts get nine!
