Three arrive at Summers Lane, one in at Regent, one out at Borough

Signings for Wingate & Finchley- and Regent, a departure for Greenwich Borough

It was a busy day of transfers yesterday at the Maurice Rebak Stadium yesterday, with manager Keith Rowland confirming three new arrivals- two of them left backs!

First of the arrivals is Jason Akiotu - a 19-year old left back from Nigeria who is a youth product of Crystal Palace. Jason left the Eagles at the end of last season, and has spent some time with Aldershot Town and Grimsby Town.

The second left back is Layne Eadie, who arrives on a one month loan deal from National League South's St Albans City.

And finally for the North Londoners, Albanian striker Irnti Rapai also joins from the National League South, making the move from Weston Super Mare.Rapai announced his departure from Weston back in December, on the basis that travelling to the Somerset side from his London home was becoming too much for him. Hopefully this move will be good both for him and for Wingate & Finchley.

There is also news of an arrival at Brightlingsea Regent, where Ollie Sims has landed on loan from Colchester United. Ollie, a winger, should go straight into Tom Rothery's squad for the match against Merstham. Read more here.

Finally, a departure. Greenwich Borough have confirmed that attacking midfielder Francis Babalola has left the club in a search for more regular football. More on that here.
