Tins when you're winning!

Brightlingsea Regent have been in magnificent form of late, with twenty two points out of the last twenty seven- including five wins and a draw from their last six matches. On Saturday they host a real clash of the titans, as they welcome the only club with a better Premier Division record over the last half a dozen matches, Folkestone Invicta- and expect a bumper crowd accordingly. Perhaps that's why they've picked this match to announce a collection for the local Brightlingsea Food Bank.

The Food Bank would be grateful if all supporters could come bearing gifts- and they don't have to be tins, despite the headline! Cereals, pasta sauces, toiletries, snacks, tea, coffee, sugar and even cleaning products will be gratefully received.
