The Blues moved swiftly to appoint the former Daggers skipper and first person of Bangladeshi origin to play professional football in England on Tuesday night as the successor to Ken Charlery.
Appointed last season, Charlery, left Wodson Park by mutual consent after Ware's 3-0 win over Romford on Bank Holiday Monday ended a run of poor results that seen his side collect only four points from 11 games, a run that had left them fourth from bottom and only seven points above the Step 4 drop zone.
Uddin, who will meet the Blues squad for the first time at training on Thursday night before taking his new charges to Great Wakering Rovers on Saturday, cut his teeth in management as assistant manager at Barnet and Maldon & Tiptree before taking sole command of Sporting Bengal United and leading them to their best ever points total in the Essex Senior League.

As a defender, the 35-year-old, pictured, kicked off his career at West Ham where he was a member of their FA Youth Cup winning side of 1999. After moving on to Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol Rovers, he is best remembered as the first British Asian to captain a football club in the top four divisions of English football.
Ware chairman Inanc Elitok paid tribute to Charlery in a statement on the Blues's website. Hailing their outgoing manager as a great individual, he said: "Ken worked hard for the club and his leaving will sadden all of us. He goes with our thanks and best wishes for the future. I wish him the best of luck."
