Whyteleafe want your spare kit!

Bostik South East club championing 'Wear a Sports Shirt Day,' which provides equipment to deserving youngsters across the world.

The old football shirts that you no longer wear, those shorts that no longer fit, those boots that have been replaced by a newer, shinier pair- you don't really need them, do you? They're just taking up cupboard space, aren't they? Isn't that annoying?! Have yourself a clutter-free Christmas by getting them out of your home, and into a collection bin at Whyteleafe!

The club are partnering with a charity called Wear a Sports Shirt Day- you can visit their Facebook Page here- to collect unwanted sporting goods for distribution to those who are desperate for them. And it doesn't just have to be shirts, shorts and boots; they'll take trainers, shinpads, water bottles, bats and balls, indeed, almost any kind of sporting goods would be useful.

Charities benefitting include KitAid, Kits4Causes, Africa on the Ball, Thembalethu Foundation and SOS Kit Aid (rugby), as well as projects that work with schools/children such as Bags of Hope and Operation Sunshine- and they are all desperate for your help.

In December Leafe have home fixtures against Hythe Town and East Grinstead Town, so away fans, please feel free to come laden with donations!
