Wingate & Finchley announce managerial departure

Summers Lane outfit begin managerial search- for the third time this season

Wingate and Finchley haven't had much luck this season. Some magnificent cup performances aside, their form in the league has seen them slip to third from bottom, and they have already seen managers Keith Rowland and Nicky Shorey leave. And now they'll have to start the managerial search once more, as Glen Little has gone too.

Little initially joined the club as Storey's number two, then stepped into the hotseat when his boss departed after only three matches in charge. However his time in charge hasn't gone well- in eleven league matches the Blues have picked up only ten points and plummeted down the table, although that needs to be balanced with FA Trophy victories over Dulwich Hamlet, Tiverton Town and Chippenham Town.

Former Director of Football Dave Norman has returned to the club from Rhyl to oversea the first team in the short term.
