Witham's James Gang to march on Coggeshall

But don’t tremble or lock up your valuables, it’s all for charity!

You’ll hear them before you see them. “Your defence is terrified, Witham’s on fire,”
they’ll yell, as they march the eight and a half miles that connect Witham to Coggeshall. Olly Murs is about to find out that James Beardwell is far louder than he is, and needs no amplification!

Non League Paper Supporter of the Year Beardwell will be joined by Chairman Mark Nicholls, Match Secretary Mark.A.Bundock, Committee member Lee Smith and supporter Liz Reed on a sponsored walk prior to Monday's match between their side and Coggeshall Town. The aim is to raise money to improve facilities at their hometown club, and they’ve also set up a Just Giving Page where you can donate.

The welfare of his club is extremely important to James, and this is likely to be one of a number of fundraising initiatives he will embark upon this year, as he looks to raise £1000. This will be the second match between the two over the Bank Holiday weekend, as they start by facing each other in the FA Cup on Friday evening. We’ll be there on Friday to cover the game as our #bostikmatchday feature (South East Motorway snarl ups notwithstanding), so we’ll hopefully be able to catch up with James and find out what his other plans are.

You can visit the Just Giving Page and pledge your support by following this link.
