Tilbury FC are sad to announce that following today's 4-0 defeat at Potters Bar Town in the FA Trophy, manager, Gary Henty, tendered his resignation.

Gary has been in the post for 3 years, since taking over from Paul Vaughan.

During the 2015/16 season, the team showed great improvement, being as high as 5th, on the back of a very long unbeaten run. This included good runs in both the Essex Senior Cup and FA Trophy, with no fewer than 3 National League sides being defeated.
Assistant Manager Danny Smith and Coach George Young have also left the club.

Club Chairman Danny Nash commented "The club would like to thank Gary, Danny and George for their excellent service to the club and wish them all the very best"

Tilbury FC will make a further statement on 8th October on the way forward.
