The winners of the Mitre Manager of the Month Awards for March have been announced, and although we have only three divisions there are four of them! Congratulations go to the following:
Premier Division: Gavin Rose of Dulwich Hamlet and Neil Cugley of Folkestone Invicta.
March was a marvellous month- on the pitch, at least- for Dulwich Hamlet; a month which saw them sit top of the Premier Division and win four of their league matches, drawing the other. Folkestone Invicta also spent time at the top, and also won four and drew one of their five games, so we couldn't prize them apart. Congratulations therefore go to both managers.
North Division: Steve Ringrose of Potters Bar Town.
March saw the Scholars soar into the automatic promotion places with six consecutive victories, including wins over promotion rivals Maldon & Tiptree, Heybridge Swifts and Dereham Town. Their only loss, a narrow one, came to leaders AFC Hornchurch.
Congratulations go to Steve Ringrose, the architect of that success.
South Division: Paul Barnes of Greenwich Borough.
Greenwich Borough had a magnificent March, winning six consecutive matches and scoring twenty-two times in the process as they closed on the automatic promotion places.
Congratulations to Cannons manager Paul Barnes.
