Barking sign...almost everybody!

By Ian Townsend

Well it certainly seems that way...

Bostik North Barking have spent the day unveiling one signing after another, and we thought we'd bring you a round up of the new players who have signed on for the forthcoming season.

First in was striker (and occasional full back, a rather unlikely versatility) Gary Cohen. Cohen previously played for Grimsby Town, St Albans, AFC Hornchurch and Soham Town Rangers, amongst others.

Next up came midfielder Jack Edwards. Jack is a former captain of the Youth Team at Southend United, and after leaving Roots Hall ended up at Billericay Town, before playing for Aveley.

In third came midfielder Joe Benjamin. You may remember Joe from Harlow Town, Bury Town and Billericay Town, amongst others.

Next, Justin Gardner introduced former Grays Athletic and Thurrock defender Joe Bruce, before taking a few minutes off for a lie down and a stiff drink. But he still wasn't done, haring back to announce the arrival of former VCD Athletic keeper Connor Pearce.

The Blues also took the time to announce the return of nine members of last season's squad, before the club computer caught fire and had to be destroyed.

If they sign any more players before midnight we'll be back to let you know, but we doubt that there are any left!
