Blues off to winning start

BRENTWOOD Town made a winning start to their pre-season campaign last night (Wednesday).

The Ryman North side beat last season's Premier runners-up, and play-off winners AFC Hornchurch 1-0 at the Brentwood Centre.

Frankie Williams fired the only goal 12 minutes from time to give Blues victory in a match that had been postponed from Saturday because of the heavy rain.
