The winners of the November Manager of the Month Awards- sponsored by the fabulous folk at Anderson Travel- have just been announced. And here they are!

Premier

November saw Bishop’s Stortford’s season really come to life. Three matches and three league victories meant saw AFC Hornchurch, Whitehawk, and Margate told the story of the Blues- and in consequence our award goes to Steve Smith & Jamie Cureton.

North

Four matches, thirteen goals, twelve points- November couldn’t really have got much better for Grays Athletic. Tilbury, Felixstowe & Walton United, Dereham Town and AFC Sudbury were conquered, as Jamie Stuart’s side climbed the table and into contention. Congratulations to Jamie.

South Central

We’re heading somewhere new in the South Central Division, and what’s that you hear? Yes, it’s the sound of a Jumbo Jet trying to land on your head, as we arrive at Hatton Road! After mixed fortunes at the start of the season Paul Johnson’s Bedfont Sports side have turned the form book on its head, victories over South Park, Uxbridge, Northwood and a walloping of Waltham Abbey seeing them hurtle up the table. Congratulations Paul!

South East

Well, we’re at Culver Road again. We might as well take up residence.

Dominic Di Paola is a man to pour scorn on the Manager of the Month curse. He laughs in the face of superstition, and his side laugh in the face of defeat. Ashford United, VCD Athletic, Whitstable Town and Greenwich Borough found themselves no match for the Horsham in November, and Dom picks up the prize for the second month in a row.

Just think how good the Hornets will be when they finally have a ground of their own!
