Fan donations let Rooks sign a striker

By Ian Townsend

Lewes add more firepower

Five points clear at the top of the South Division, goal difference of +46, unbeaten since New Years Day- you'd think that Lewes manager Darren Freeman could relax a little and listen to his favourite opera, wouldn't you? Well you'd be wrong, because with money burning a hole in his pocket courtesy of the clubs 12th Man Fund he's gone out and bought himself a new striker!

Marcus Elliot has provided much of East Grinstead Town's firepower this season, with fifteen goals, but now he finds himself at the Dripping Pan, attempting to force his way into a line up that has scored fourteen times in the last four matches.
