Merstham legend- and Assistant Manager- Mick Sullivan leaves by mutual consent

Merstham Assistant Manager Mick Sullivan has left the club by mutual consent, it was announced today. Mick, who managed the Moatsiders during what was perhaps the most successful period in their history prior to leaving for Leatherhead in 2009, returned to the club as Assistant Manager in June 2014, and was in the dugout with Manager Hayden Bird as they reached the FA Cup First Round during the last campaign.

Mick, who will be taking up a media opportunity- the details of which are expected to be announced next week- stated that he was "disappointed" to have left the club, and that he'd "like to wish the supporters and directors of Merstham the very best for the future." He added that whilst he was greatly looking forward to his media work, he would also be looking to get back into management if the right opportunity came along.
