Two for Wingate

New arrivals at Summers Lane

Wingate and Finchley head into their vital home match against Worthing today with two new signings. The club, who have taken only four points from their last thirty, and are in desperate need of a change of fortune, have brought in two midfielders.

The first, Donovan Makoma, arrives on loan from Stevenage. Makoma, who hails from Lille in France, started his English football journey in the National League with Barrow, before moving to Stevenage last summer. This season he has already had loan spells at Woking and Biggleswade Town, but will remain at Summers Lane until the end of the season.

Alongside Donovan is a returning player, Gaz Dauti, who previously played for the Blues in 2011-12. Gaz should be no stranger to Bostik League supporters, having previously turned out for Potters Bar Town, Harlow Town- and most recently Aveley, for whom he made thirteen appearances in 2016-17, scoring against Waltham Abbey and Norwich United.
