Urchins bring in two Towners

Hornchurch sign two from Enfield

AFC Hornchurch have announced the signing of two players from Bostik Premier rivals Enfield Town.

First in is former Chelmsford City midfielder Matt Johnson. Matt played a rather incredible fifty matches for Town in all competitions last season, considerably more than any other player in the Towners squad- and also rather remarkably started them all, so it seems was the first name on Andy Leese's teamsheet.

Joining Matt at Bridge Avenue is goalkeeper Joe Wright. Joe made thirty-nine appearances last season, and prior to joining the Towners turned out for Bishop's Stortford and Billericay Town amongst others.

Both players were in the starting eleven as Town defeated the Urchins in the Velocity Trophy Final back in March.
