England C manager Paul Fairclough will be the star guest on Thursday night’s Ryman Round-up Show.

Fairclough, pictured, has been England’s Non-League manager since 2003 and agreed to take his place on the phone-in for fans, players and officials of the Ryman League on Tuesday after being contacted by the show’s producers.

The 64-year-old famously guided Stevenage Borough to an epic FA Cup Fourth Round Replay clash with Newcastle United in 1998 after winning successive promotions in the Ryman League and eventual promotion into the Football Conference four years earlier.

Fairclough’s England C goalkeeping coach Mick Payne is also hoping to make an appearance on the show which was launched last August by Harlow-based online community station Hawks Radio and has been entertaining listeners all season. This week’s other guests include Harlow Town Secretary Ray Dyer and his opposite number at Guernsey, Mark Le Tissier.

Presented by David Square and BBC reporter and commentator Karl Bates, the Ryman Round-up show broadcasts online from 7 to 10pm every Thursday night, apart from the last Thursday in the month when it runs from 8 to 10pm, and every edition is also podcasted for listeners who can't tune in live.
