FA to announce appeal decision at noon

By David Watters

The Football Association will announce its decision on Farnborough's appeal over the £30,000 bond they've been required to pay by the Ryman League at noon on Thursday.

Farnborough's opening games of the season were postponed after they lodged an appeal over the decision to suspend them in the interests of the competition and other member clubs.

At the time, The FA, the Ryman League and the club agreed that the situation should be resolved as quickly as possible.

No further comment will be made by the Ryman League until the FA's decision is released at 12pm on Thursday 20 August.
