FA Trophy Third Qualifying Round- Draw made!

By Ian Townsend

The draw for the next round of the FA trophy has just been made- and it's a cracker!

The draw for the Third Qualifying Round of the FA trophy has just been made, and it features our clubs in a number of mouth-watering ties. The list is below, but here are the highlights:

Mildenhall Town's reward for dumping out two higher league clubs in the FA Trophy is to draw another one- Lancaster City. City are one place above Saturdays opponents, Barwell, in the Evo-Stik North Premier Division, and beat Stratford Town 3-0 on Saturday. Lewes have also knocked out two higher division sides in a row, and they have the difficult task of hosting the third place side in National League South, Truro City- whilst hoping that they don't end up with a midweek replay! Dorking Wanderers walloped Leiston 4-1 on Saturday, and now they need to travel to last season's Premier Division champions Havant & Waterlooville, whilst if Potters Bar Town can remove Hereford in their replay tomorrow night they'll travel to Oxford City.

Hendon will bring high flying Slough Town to Silver Jubilee Park, Brentwood's reward for defeating Needham Market will be to entertain Dartford, and Heybridge Swifts know they'll be off to either Middlesex or Surrey, and that whether it's Ashford Town or Kingstonian they'll have to endure the M25 once more!

All winners will receive £5000.
